Hello from Florida! If you’re following me on Twitter or Instagram, you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been traveling in the US the past week. I’m on a short trip to visit some family, which means not as much time for blogging… But I was extra prepared and filmed two whole Apricotsushi Samples videos in advance! This is the first, where I try out an instant Japanese pudding candy called Purin Gokko.

I actually almost didn’t upload this video because right at the very beginning there is a period where my face is out of focus. I didn’t even realize until after I left the country… The problem with these candy videos is it’s hard to redo them if something gets messed up, because you can only make something once. This kit was specifically requested by a reader for me to do, so despite the fact that I feel a little unhappy with the quality, I’m publishing it anyway! Don’t worry, though, most of the video is in focus and maybe you aren’t even as picky as me and won’t notice the blurriness at the beginning (but you will most definitely notice now that I’ve told you!). Hopefully Pai Pai’s special appearance makes up for it!
